Alisa unlocked the apartment door at the Waldorf Astoria. It was decorated in a rather posh manner. A crystal chandelier hanging in the living room, velvet curtains, Victorian furniture (not inspired furniture, but the real deal), fabric wallpaper, a marble bathroom, and about 1,300 square feet of luxury. She placed her purse on the dinning room table and turned back to Steve.

"Please, make yourself at home."

Alisa had woken up first. She had showered, gotten dressed, made breakfast for herself and Steve, and was already busy with work by the time he got up. She sat in a white dress blouse, a black vest, and black pencil skirt, sipping some coffee as she did research on some artwork Alistaire wished to purchase for his hotel. Everything from tracking previous auctions on legit pieces of work, to looking up estate catalogs.

By the time Steve crawled out of bed, she looked over at him with a raised eyebrow, taking another sip of her coffee.

"Good morning, Steve. Did you sleep well?"

"I did. In fact, I'm kind of glad I had the day off today, because I don't think I've had that good a nights sleep in a really long time. That's weird to me," Steve says as he walks up, kissing her head as he takes a seat next to her.

"So, what's on the agenda? I certainly hope it's crime prevention and not crime itself. I do have a slight problem in that regard if it is crime."

Alisa could not help but laugh at his words.

"I have a SHIELD agent in my apartment. The most straight laced one I could ever think of! Do you really think I would be doing illegal activity with you around." Alisa smirked. "No. Alistaire Shaw is looking to buy some artwork for his new hotel. I am looking up the artwork he wants and trying to broker a proper price for it. I am also looking for some alternatives, if he could not get the artwork he wanted."

She placed her coffee down on the table, and padded the seat next to her on the antique couch.

"Though I could take a rare day-off, today. Perhaps get you a nice suit for work. One that does not look like it came off a corpse." Alisa grinned at Steve. "I do not mean to be cruel, but seriously... grey suits do not work on you. How about a nice black with with a red tie? Something that oozes confidence and power. Like "Here I am, Agent Coulson, ready to kick Hydra's ass and look good doing so"."

"Oooh, corpse suit jokes, and so early in the morning? I think you still have a ways to go before you beat my sister in making those jokes," Steve said with a smirk. "She's been poking fun at my wardrobe for over two decades."

"Ouch, now I just feel bad." Alisa closed her laptop up and look up at him. "Well, if you want to go out to buy a new suit or two, we can do that. Or we can look at some brownstones for our future home, if you want."

She continued to smile, leaning in to give him a kiss on the cheek.

"The choice is up to you. Or, if you have any suggestions, I am all ears."

"As much as I would like a sugar momma, I'd rather not do anything that draws attention to this. If I go to work with suits I don't wear that costs half a months salary, there'll be questions," Steve said, smiling at the kiss. "As for suggestions, I'm really drawing a blank. I'm...err, not well known for my social or financial exploits. So I have no clue what would be good."

"Just name something, anything." She smiled, giving Steve a kiss on the lips this time. "And I am not a Sugar Mama. We are going to be partners. So what's mine is yours, and what's yours is mine... unless you would like a pre-nup?"

That last sentence just made her grin.

"Steve, it's your day off. You are living with me now. Just pick something to do for the day."

"Wow, first a sugar momma and now an ultimatum? I don't know whether to be appreciative or a smidgeon creeped out. Besides, didn't you have to go and look at houses?"

"Ummm... that was not an ultimatum. That was an observation." She raised an eyebrow. "You confuse me, Steve Coulson, and yet I am okay with that."

Winking, Alisa opened her laptop back up and started to browse through the brownstone options they had. "Okay, so here are our options. Father is paying for the home, oddly enough. It is a wedding present to the both of us. Sooo... it means we have to pick out something we BOTH like."
